Quantitative and qualitative determination of DNA sequences is one of the most common applications of qPCR technology. The largest area of application is medical and veterinary diagnostics. However, nucleic acid determination using qPCR is also used in other industries, such as the food industry (e.g., determination of GMO content in food products) and the pharmaceutical industry (e.g., testing the microbiological purity of drugs). qPCR-based nucleic acid detection techniques are also widely used in scientific research to monitor biological processes (e.g., the body’s response to drug administration, monitoring treatment progress, etc.).
Our team members have extensive experience in implementing numerous projects based on both qualitative and quantitative DNA sequencing with a wide range of applications. Examples of completed projects include detecting the presence of specific microorganisms in biological material, studying industrial processes by quantitatively determining changes in the microflora of collected samples, and studying the process of carcinogenesis by quantitatively determining DNA sequences characteristic of cancer cells. We have the ability to select the optimal method of nucleic acid extraction, design a specific qPCR reaction, and prepare appropriate calibrators for quantitative determinations. This enables us to efficiently carry out projects and deliver high-quality and reliable results.
We begin our work by familiarizing ourselves with the nature of the project: what is to be labeled, in what material, whether it is to be quantitative or qualitative labeling, whether it is necessary to develop a new research method, qPCR reaction, etc. Based on the information gathered, we prepare a quote for the project. Once it has been accepted, we move on to the implementation of the project. We usually carry it out in two stages. The first stage involves developing the necessary methodology (e.g., preparing calibrators, designing qPCR reactions, selecting DNA extraction methods, etc.). In the second stage, we perform the actual qualitative/quantitative analysis on the material provided. In the final phase, we compile the collected results and prepare a report documenting the scope of the work performed and the results obtained. We send the prepared documentation to the customer.
Our accumulated experience and well-equipped laboratory allow us to carry out projects with a wide range of applications. Our knowledge in the field of qPCR technology, nucleic acid extraction, and preparation of the required calibrators for quantitative determinations enables us to efficiently carry out orders and adapt to customer needs. Great thoroughness in experimental work and attention to detail mean that the results we obtain are highly accurate and free of artifacts.
